About Markus Solbach

Hi, I’m Markus Solbach, and I’m excited to have you here. Let me share a bit of my journey, so you know where this game log is coming from.

I spent my childhood playing in the German youth baseball system before the Minnesota Twins signed me in 2011. During my 12 years in professional baseball, I pitched with the Twins, the Diamondbacks, the Dodgers, and the Tigers, reaching the Triple-A level with both the Dodgers and the Tigers. I even had the chance to pitch in a few major league spring training games.

Unfortunately, my pro career ended after Tommy John surgery in 2022, but the experiences I gained from those years are what inspired me to create this log. Today, I still play and coach in Germany.

For you pitchers, I made the Pitcher's Game Log to help you become a better and more consistent pitcher every time you step on the mound. Everything you find in the log book is a collective of what I learned in my time playing with and against some of the best players in the world.

And for all you sluggers out there, I know how valuable it is to track patterns and learn from each at-bat. I have faced some of the world’s best hitters and they all have one thing in common, they have a Plan! That’s why I want to help you understand what kind of a player you are and work on becoming a more prepared and confident hitter.

Thanks for letting me be part of your journey.
